Please review these instructions before, after, and through out your healing process. To achieve the best results we highly encourage to follow these aftercare instructions carefully. It is your job to take care of your new cosmetic tattoo you received.

Brows

  3. Using a clean q-tip, apply a rice grain amount of the ointment on 1-2 x a day. Moving in one direction. Make sure the ointment is thin & fully coating the area. You can stop using the ointment once you notice major of the scabs has flaked off.

  4. No direct water contact on the brow area during the healing process.

  5. Please avoid hot steaming showers, swimming, heavy exercising, sweating, or receiving facials for 14 days.

  6. No direct sun exposure/tanning for the next 30 days.

  7. Please do not pick, peel or try to fill in your brow area while it is healing.

  8. Please take a break from any exfoliating anti aging/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc) near and around your brows area at least 2 weeks after for best healed results.

  9. Any treatments such as lasers, peels, waxing, botox, tinting, etc should also take place 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appt.

Lips

  1. Refrain from soaking your lips in water for a week and from applying makeup to them. Make sure to brush your teeth with your mouth wide-open trying to avoid touching the paste and water. Eat carefully also trying to not touch or smudge your lips, it might affect healed results. Alcohol, hot and colorful drinks are only allowed to consume through the straw.

  2. Refrain from using saunas and swimming pools, sweating excessively and sunbathing as your lips may loose the color or get hyperpigmented from sun exposure, especially if you naturally have more of dark melanin in your skin.

  3. Do not peel any dry skin/ scabs.

  4. Keep the lips moisturized all the time with A&D ointment provided only (no vaseline, antibiotic creams, neosporene, etc.)

  5. Your skin will start slowly releasing lymph fluid right after your procedure. This is a common healing process for our bodies! 30 minutes after your appointment and throughout the first day from the procedure, keep wiping your lips with antiseptic wipes provided or cotton rounds and lukewarm water to minimize scabbing.

Eyeliner

  1. Please take a month long break from any exfoliating anti aging/ anti acne products (retinoids, glycolics, vitamin c, AHA/ BHA, enzyme washes, serums, etc).

  2. Please take a break from all lash growth solutions as Latisse near and around your eyes area at least 2 weeks prior to your session and 2 weeks after for best healed results.

  3. Any treatments such as lasers, peels, tinting, perming, etc should also take place 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appt.

  4. Don't get lash extensions or put fake lashes until your eyeliner is fully healed (5-14 days).

  5. We recommend on a week long of dry heal. Clearly, our eyes are naturally wet but just refrain from soaking your eyes area in water (shower/ bath/ swimming), avoid saunas, wearing eye makeup, applying moisturizer, etc.

What to except

  • For the first couple of days, your cosmetic tattoo will appear very vibrant and very defined before the scabbing phase.
  • for Brow procedure thickness will subside gradually as the days go by. please except to lose at least 10-15% in size and about 40-60% of the color to faded.
  • You may notice whiteness or blanching around the area, this is quite normal and will subside within 12 hours.
  • If you find any lymphatic fluid or blood weeping you can gently blot the area dry to remove any moisture.
  • Redness, swelling, and stinging is normal and should subside by the following day completely.
  • If the area feels unbearable for certain individuals who have low pain tolerance, please use a clean ice pack for comfort.
  • You will go through three healing phases: 1-heal, 2-peel and 3-fade.
  • FOR LIPS, once major of the scabs have flaked off THE COLOR TAKES A LITTLE BIT LONGER to SETTLE IN. THE COLOR USUALLY COMPLETES THE FULL HEALING AROUND THE 6-8 WEEK MARK.
  • Healing Time for most cosmetic procedure takes between 7-14 days (brows & Eyeliner) or 3-7 days (LipS)
